Loic is nowhere to be found in my game. I found him in the silverglen chapel when he set me a task to join the immaculates. I did the task and then answered the questions based on the immaculate books, and he ran off because I had cured the rot without his help. However I accidentally stumbled on the temple and explored it a little earlier on and it seems to have glitched Loic. I did a few of the side quests around and then went and found the temple. The guardian inside the entrance keeps telling me that I am not yet allowed in as I have not passed Loic's test. I have passed the test but it does not seem to have registered and Loic is nowhere to be found in Silverglen or the temple. Any clues on how to fix him? It has been a couple of weeks of saves since I last saw him so I would rather give up than go all the way back to that save.

Wrong forum. Loic is DOS 1, or DOS 1 EE

This is the correct forum - it's plainly labeled as Divinity Original Sin while the two areas above it are labeled Divinity Original Sin II. Anyway, you lost me. If you answer the questions correctly, that should be it. He does freak out later during the ceremony. Were you able to handle terenium (or whatever it was called) ore that early? Found a blood stone to cure it? Anyway, if you are in the temple when he freaks out (it sounds like not), he'll be back with a few friends. I'm also wondering (don't know) if you need to actually read the books to trigger it? Are you sure you didn't miss a question? Can you get into the hatch in the church?

I never tried it but it may be possible to fight the guards to get to the temple but, if it is truly bugged, would it be worth the effort? You may even be able to sneak past them - not sure. Have you tried an earlier save?

This topic got moved, that is why it is now in the correct subforum.

Regarding the topic I can't help, to much time passed, can't even remember him.

After Loic leaves in the trial, he should reappear from the portal as you approach/enter the room to the east.

Well I think we've ascertained this was my fault and I need to be a bit more transparent about my random acts of moderation!

Though I'm still not certain where Loic may be hiding, nor if it's possible to somehow pass the test in his absence. frown

Edit: and this is what happens when I stay in the reply screen for two hours and then Raze replies a couple of minutes before I get round to it. biggrin
