Is the second battlefield dungeon supposed to be abandoned? I didn't encounter any enemies at all except for the "boss" at the third level...

Also, *spoiler* right before you finish act 1, you get a key for the room with the lava, when you enter the room the deathknight comments about a hatch on a wall and says that you can fill the whole citadel with lava, I tried everything, the only interactive part of that room was the lava forge, what exactly are you supposed to do there?

IIRC, the empty dungeon was one of the bugs reported in the German version when it was released. Apparently it has not been fixed yet.

You need something to take out the forge. On the first level of the prison, in the room east of the kitchen with the 4 guards, there is a book that describes how to make gunpowder...

Is that the one with the locked door? How do you open that door?

I have the three ingredients for the explosion, but I never read the book so I dont know how to do it, do I have to read it to trigger the ability to destroy the place, or is there some special way to combine the sulfer coal and salt without having to read that book?

Figured it out! Its coal on salt = Coal+salt mixture, then that on the sulpher to make the explosive, dont need to read the book to do it either.

That way of exiting the citadel gives more experience than simply leaving by the set of stairs beside Samuel's lair.

Yeah I couldnt live with the fact that I was leaving his citadel without destroying it so I had to reload and finish it that way instead.

Leave Samuel a little surprise when he gets back <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

The coal is in Fergus' room. It is a ways back, but you don't have to go through the maze.

The forge is one of 2 ways to exit the act. You have to do everything else first, specifically, meeting Samuel.
