I've encountered an issue with Fane's romance. Originally I wasn't even aware of it but upon arriving in Arx Fane's romance seems to remain discontinued.

The romance-specific dialogue options in Arx that should be there simply don't appear. And the additional dialogue with him at the very end of the game is not present either.

I've been playing co-op with a friend and the interesting thing to note is that in one of the endings the epilogue slides suggest that my friend's character was my lover instead, whereas in others it simply doesn't mention him.

What's more in the accepting divinity ending there is an option to greet Fane as Divine to which he responds with what appears to romance specific dialogue. "My god, my darling... Is there all too much difference?"

Fane is my favourite character in the game hands down and I'm really sad I didn't get to see his whole romance on my first playthrough. Other people have noted to have these issues as well. I genuinely hope they'll be addressed sometime soon. And once they are, I'll be glad to replay the whole game once again.

Please email a save before just arriving in Arx, if available, as well as one near the end of the game (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc) to supportdos2@larian.com, with a description (or link to this topic).
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames\Story' folder.
In Windows Explorer you can zip file(s) and folder(s) by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder'.

Re: Fane Romance Arx Bug - was there ever a solution to this? The same thing happens to me, it's gutting. It appears people have been posting about it since last year so I would hope there was something I could do by now. Replaying the entire game isn't even a guarantee. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a bug report for this, but no workaround that I know of.
