Am I losing my mind or is the crafting menu literally robbing me of ingredients?
I wanted to craft Bone Cage scrolls (paper + High quality shadow essence + fish bone).
As you can see in the clip below, Ifan already has one of these scrolls, and has enough ingredients to craft 8 more, and nobody else in the party has these ingredients or any of these scrolls.
So, I go to the Recipe panel, I select Bone Cage scroll, I set the maximum number of scrolls that I can create (8 in this case), and hit Combine, expecting to have a total of 9 scroll in the end. To my shock I ended up with only 6 new scrolls (Ifan received 4 for a total of 5 and the Red Prince received 2). Nobody else received any scrolls. Wuuut?!

Where are the remaining 2 scrolls? And why did 2 scrolls end up with the Red Prince, if Ifan had all the ingredients?

Then I decided to see what happens if I craft the scrolls one by one, instead of in bulk (clip below). The result was the same, and I noticed that some of the combines did not produce a scroll. The very first combine and the fourth combine basically glitched out and did not add a scroll. Bizarre.

Then I also tried using the Combine panel instead of the Recipe panel. I added the ingredients manually and started combining. Everything worked correctly - I got all 8 scrolls, and all of them went to Ifan, as they should.

So, the Recipe panel seems to rob me of ingredients, while the Combine panel works fine. That sucks because the Combine panel can only craft items one at a time, not in bulk.
I don't know if this has happened with other recipes. It's not something I pay attention to because I don't normally expect to lose ingredients to a bugged crafting menu.
So is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
