When I am looking at my map the map will not zoom in or out.

Wouldn't it be better to pay doctors when we are healthy?

Which map are you having a problem with? Someone else reported this for the battlefields, but I forgot to check the last time I was there (they may not be zoomable because the area is randomly generated).

I was the one Raze an It was the Act 1 battle field map's that would not zoom In or out. All the rest so far seem just fine? Plus every time I found a new key 1/2 or more of the maps would be black.. and I've already cleared the whole area acouple of times.

Yes, battlefield automap won't zoom. Also, after a reload it is possible the mini and auto maps will both be pitch black. The only way I've found to resolve this is restore from an earlier save game. Very annoying. I wonder what schmucks tested this game?

It is absolutely normal that the BF-maps can't be zoomed. They are automatic random-generated, so there arn't automap-files for this maps in the different resolutions.
It isn't a Bug. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/winkwink.gif" alt="" />

No, you're wrong. Everything can be programmed. If Larian can program random dungeons, then they can also program maps for those dungeons, at any resolution.

A bug is something the developer didn't intend to have, but accedentaly came up. I'm fairly sure Larian wanted to zoom BF-maps. If it isn't a bug, then that means zooming created alot of performance problems or something like that... But I doubt that.

Tovi May Raan refresh you!

The automap bugs with the Battlefields extend way further than just the zoomable maps. Half the time you don't see all of what you've already cleared until you go back.

it seems to me that the more obnoxious of the two and the one that really needs addressing is the blackout issue. forget the zooming maps. while it could have been programmed, maybe it was crunch time so they sacrificed it.
