A friend and I are playing online co-op on PC with 2 custom characters and 2 origin characters for companions. Before DE, co-op conversations between party members would always skip over my dialouge choices and jump straight to the AI after the first player made their choice.

Now with DE, it allows me to hear my characters response when selecting dialogue BUT only during story and quest choices, never with reflection co-op dialogue. When the host initiates the party convo for the reflection dialogue, I don’t even see their initial choice, just a blank dialogue box. Once they pick their choice, my choices show up. Once I pick my choice, my characters gets the first word out and is then skipped over by AI.

Does anyone know of a workaround for this until it gets (hopefully) patches? It’s not game breaking but it certainly ruins the immersion and makes me feel like my character isn’t a part of the world

Unfortunately this is a problem that's been popping up since the game first launched (as you noted). I was hoping the definitive edition would have this issue fixed. I really hope they're planning on patching in the other player's voice functionality because it's frustrated me and my fiance to no end that he's not able to hear his character's voiced dialogue in these reflections. If anyone has a workaround I'd appreciate it too, because it drives us both crazy. I really hope Larian is still working on the problem!
