Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Act 2: Getting Off "Lava Island" *Spoiler*

I've explored most of (I think)the lava island you arrive at at the beginning of Act 2 (after destroying the lava forge in Samuel's Citadel, this IS Act 2, right?). The area I can get to doesn't appear that big on the map, but you can easily scroll the area off the screen, making the area seem much larger (reachable areas, or just the way the map screens are laid out?).

The only area I can't seem to get to is in the south west, where a mage just kicks my butt every time. It's sort of near the hunter NPC in the south of the map. Is the level exit past this mage? If not, I can hopefully avoid him. Is there a Battlefield Key in this area? Not having the Act 1 Level 2 dungeon to clear out is hurting right about now.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

Yes there is something just past him and you need to go there. You can go around the Mage a bit to the north then drop down again. I don't know what that Mage had but I want some <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

btw: a good strategy whenever you encounter a Mage is to rush it immediately and hope there are not two of them. Witches are even worse... One actually killed me about 2 or 3 seconds after it was dead. Still shocked about that, but I want that spell too <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Actually you dont need to go past the mage. Just enter the prison, its a little to the left of the ciradel exit, and free the imps inside. They show you the exit.

I got that mage! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I ended up rushing him and got at least one critical in. I'm now in the Imp Village!
