Hello,
I left my character standing in front of the door with a skull on it on the ship Merryweather. I had just quick saved and pressed pause. I then shut down my Xbox One X.
Upon starting the console again and resuming my game, I find I can only open and close the pause menu. No other buttons are functional. The environment doesn't seem frozen; ambient noise, water, lightning, and fire effects are all working.
Quick Load had no effect. I did a normal load of my last Quick Save, and the game screen simply went black (ambient noise was still present).
I then quit the game and relaunched it. Upon continuing my game, I loaded in at my last Quick Save and was finally able to move about and play normally.
I'm sure y'all are busy putting out a lot of fires, but wanted to let you know about this. At least there is a workaround.
