I own the Steam version and noticed how the Definitive Edition changed folder structure to be split between Definitive and Classic Editions. I only want Definitive Edition parts to to save up some space. Which files and directories can I safely delete?

\bin, \Data seem to be what \Classic is using. Can these be removed? Maybe. My first tries were successful, playing DefEd.
That's a whopping 22GB.

\DefEd is mirroring that structure as subfolders, with many of the same (updated) files.

For up to 85MB, you can also remove language packs in DefEd\Data\Localization.

in DefEd\Data you might be able to remove video and voice packs without DOS2 crashing but I have not tried.
There's also 3GB of sounds next to that folder too. Just make empty files with the same names as a try.

Anything else is certainly more difficult to slim down.
