I've waited for a seeming eternity for the definitive edition to come out so that I could start playing Divinity 2, but now the dumb launcher is putting one final obstacle in my way. For whatever reason the launcher doesn't properly scale to my resolution, so the bottom partis cut off (or so I imagine). All I see is a useless and annoying twitter feed (if I wanted to see twitter I'd go to twitter) and most of a Divinity character picture below it - but the launcher cuts off before showing any options for me to select. There's no way to scroll the in launcher window, and no way to resize it, because it is sloppily made.

Are there keyboard hot keys for the options in the launcher? In that case I might be able to launch the game without seeing the options. Is there a way to skip the launcher and just start playing the definitive edition? Is there a way to resize the launcher so I actually get to see everything? It's kind of frustrating that such a sloppy menu is keeping me from even playing the game...

Any luck with finding a solution? Since my friend is having the exact same problem where the game launcher doesn't fully load/cuts off, except difference is that he's not running at 4k, but 1080p. For me, the launcher loads perfectly fine and just pressing 'Enter' launches the game in Definitive Edition without having to click anyting, but that doesn't seem to work if the launcher cuts off, as if he button wasn't there. Are there maybe any steam commands to, for example, skip the launcher and launch directly to the game, like the OP suggested?
Would appreciate if anyone has any useful input.

I am having this exact same problem as well, there are a number of people with this issue from what I'm seeing on steam and between my friends who play the game.

Just in case anyone is still having trouble with this, solution: Find your DoS2 game files
under 'Steam\steamapps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\bin' and launch the Definitive Edition '.exe' file located there.

Answer was kinda simple, but to be honest, I didn't expect a different .exe for both the versions, which to be fair I should have checked for a lot sooner.
