Hey so I'm wanting to do either a pure metamorph build or a main metamorph with a splash of some other class I'm eating to use a spear and ideas?

Polymorph, like Necromancer, is more of a compliment school than something you main.

If you want to do a spear build, though, have you considered a Warden? That's a bow and spear user (both using FIN) who takes Huntsman and Warfare. Polymorph should work with that build.

The problem for your metamorph with a spear build is that almost evry metamorph skill scales with strenght and a spear will makes your weapon's skills and auto attacks scales with finesse.
Meaning you will have to invest lot's of pointsi in both stats.
I would advice either change your weapon, or using a finnesse based class (like marksman or scondred).

I only speak about optimasing of course. You can play metamorph with a spear.
