Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems Game keeps crashing to desktop out of nowhere

It just keeps frequently happening every 30-60 minutes. I'm just running along doing my thing, then it's gone. Happens in combat, happens while talking to NPC, happens while just screwing around organizing my inventory. Really starting to get annoying!

Drivers are up to date on GPU and entire computer, just updated them the other day.

CPU: Ryzen 2700x
GPU: 1080ti
RAM: 32 GB DDR4 3000 mhz
Storage: Game is on an SSD
Resolution: 1440p in fake full screen mode

Nothing is over heating, no other games have ANY issues.

Anyone have any ideas?? This is STILL happening, very annoying

does it happen when the game autosaves? (or when you maybe quicksave or manual save?) because I am having this issue where at random, the game crashes to desktop when the game saves.
