It's already some time ago I accidently discovered that you could use a capacitor instead of the specific eternal artifact to craft the armour of the eternals. I think it happened close to the release of the DE.
Not sure if this is or was intended. If I remember correctly you never could do that and this might be an interesting news.
On the other hand you can't use it as material to enchant weapons, armour etc.
