Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - General Amyro persuasion check seems impossible

Hello there!
During the first conversation with Amyro, while he is in the cage, appears a persuasion check with the opportunity of a strength or finesse persuasion, but both of them leads to the message, that it is impossible. I'm playing a solo run with Ifan.
Is he the reason, why it is impossible or why appears this message? Do i need to fulfill another requirement to pass this check?
Normally it is shown what is missing and not that it is impossible.
Any suggestions?

Some checks are in fact impossible. That's one of them. Amryo wants out of the cage very badly and he is not inclined to give up his only leverage until he's free.
