Ok I really do like this game, but I stopped playing halfway through the game because there is a problem. When you understand all this games mechanics and when you are smart at issuing out actions in combat, you can win fairly easily on Tactician.

Cmon, Larian, there needs to be a higher difficulty than tactician or change it:

1. If the player can use extremly effective skills like Teleport, Nether Swap, Battle Stomp, chicken claw, summon skills etc with ease and frequently. Why doesn't the enemy AI do the same?? My suggestion is to allow enemy AI to prioritize these sorts of highly effective skills, so they use them more often as the player can!

2. If the player can focus fire the enemy with one damage type, i.e. focus physical attack, or focus magic attack, why does the enemy AI not do the same?? My suggestion, allow the enemy AI to gang up on one of the players party member and focus one type of attack on them.

3. I know there are mods to do this, but ofcourse upscale enemies to the player level please!

An alternative to point number 1. is to change the requirments of thise highly effective skills, and the AP cost to use them.

1. Probably because the player is always going to be smarter than the AI!
2. I believe that the reason the AI doesn't focus fire on PC's is because it would be far too frustrating for players. Players don't like to feel like they are stomped on without even a chance to act.

1. Enemies do use these abilities, they just don't *spam* them like players do. No player would like enemies to be spammy with anything, much less with highly effective abilities. It's pretty obvious that combat would feel super cheesy and get old really fast, when both sides just take turn spamming the same few abilities over and over.

2. The idea of focusing fire on a target would be fine in a real time game. While it's a "smart" combat tactic in general, in a turn-based game like this it won't be that cool, especially when you take into account the fact that in many encounters you are outnumbered, even heavily so. Imagine when four or five enemies take turn back to back focusing fire on one single party member, and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it except watching them die. On higher difficulties and in tough fights, this most likely means you simply don't stand a chance without resorting to some extreme tactic or, well, cheese.

These suggestions are rather anti-fun, if I'm to be blunt.

1. Ok well, fair enough, but then they should use some of these skills a bit more frequently, sometimes they in a whole fight they may not use any of thise skills once! And I think to my self whyyyyyyy, it becomes too easy when I know they don't do stuff like that.

2. I understand your point of focus firing from multiple enemies before that player gets a chance to survive. Then, they should make it so only a certain number of enemies will focus fire a player and not all of them? Or lessen the enemy numbers and increase their AI? I don't know, I feel like this game is too trivial if they don't use effective strategy like that.

I generally play solo on tactician.

The two main ways I see to make it tougher is to disallow load wolf or chameleon cloak.

Chameleon cloak is the most disruptive skill so currently, I am disallowing the Polymorph Ability and skills to my characters.

Maybe more enemies on the field would be interesting. Add in a few teams of bad guys to each map, that sort of thing. Reduce exp a bit to compensate.

A higher difficulty would be great to be honest.
