Im certaintly not trying to rub it in, but I have version 1.32 patched in and so far have not run into a single one of these glitches or bugs mentioned. I do have the battlefield empty bug, but nothing else. I wonder if the problem exists with graphic card or processor compatibility as opposed to the game itself just being bad.....Not that they shouldnt fix the issue, just that not everyone has these problems.

I just got hit by this bug also... have been running around the dark forest for HOURS trying to find that cave!! Is there no way to cheat and put the mushroom into my inventory? Or to trigger the script to run? I have no savegames before this; I use the rotating quicksaves.

If I can't get this fixed I guess I'll have to return the game. This sucks.

In the dead forest (east of the imp village) there are 2 of the ingredients required by the alchemist (Blue Larakiri root and Grey Quisirisi fruit). Before talking to the imp alchemist you can safely pick these up, but moving them in your inventory can or will (not sure if it is consistent) trigger a quest entry so that the game thinks you are further ahead than you are, and subsequently does not trigger a cut scene required to get the third ingredient.

This bug can be avoided by talking to the alchemist first when you enter the forest (a cave a bit south east of the entrance) or by not moving the ingredients in your inventory.

If you email support at larian.com they should be able to fix or bypass the entrance. There is plot related stuff in the cave so just adding the mushroom to your inventory would not work (or it might, but you would miss some stuff).

As far as I can tell is picking one of the objects (ingredients) in the Dead Forest BEFORE speaking to the Alchimist where things go wrong.

Thanks Raze, I think I'm safe. I've only cleared the Spider forest so far.
