Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 - The Modding Dungeon Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Modding Troubleshooting Installing Mods on It's Own.

No steam workshop nonsense, every time I open the game, it just REINSTALLS four mods that are causing the game to have a modding/multiplayer error message when starting the game.

Likely causing crashing, and issues with Multiplayer, too. (Like it says it would.)


Yet every time I delete them, and start the game up, IT JUST THROWS THEM INTO THE FOLDER AGAIN.

Edit: Apparently it is. Yet I've never used it, and don't even know HOW to use it, apparently it keeps reinstalling them through my steamapps\workshop.

Even looking into it, I have absolutely NOTHING in my Workshop through steam, for anything at all, either.

Edit2: Since the website isn't error-ing me on this edit, I won't repost.

Somehow 4 mods of the 8 I've had installed since beginning the game, were on Steam Workshop. I had to search each one's general name, and manually UnSubscribe from them. Deleting the workshop folder wasn't enough.

Somehow some left-over files updating to Definitive Edition, or something, were left over in the files so deleting the game, deleting everything in the DOS2 folder, and re-installing it worked.

Hopefully I won't have issues now.
