ok having quite a big bug overhere...

(spoiler)

when playing in act 2, you get to enter a small prison where you have to rescue Thax and his fellow imp
If you do so , they lead you to the imp city over the hidden lava passage
When you pass that, you get a cut-sequence of Samuel ordering a ghost to come and kill you
This is where the bug occurs
the moment Samuel is done talking and you close the chat window... Samuel just stands there
THe game thinks you're still in a cut-scene, but all you get is to see samuel standing there doing nothing

cant continue playing this way

You'd say skip the imp rescue then... but the other imp is needed in an important quest, so it's necessary

any suggestions on how to solve?

another thing :

the patch is installed
but since i installed the patch, the secret path to the imp village cant be entered anymore... and characters on a previous save are in the village
so cant get out of there anymore > its either get stuck at samuel
or stuck in the village <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

Hello, I am the guy with the 'enormous bug' <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

here's the problem

when i entered nemesis i cleansed the area and ran over the lava myself without help of those imps (i didn't rescue them yet) when i entered imp city alone I cleansed the area too, when i entered spider forest a ghost appearred (the ghost send by samuel) so i killed it...

later on, i realised i needed to find the cheiftains son imp so i went down to the cave and rescued the imp. when i came out of the cave , a cutscene with samuel appeared talking to nobody :s

when the cutscene ends, the game 'crashes' the cutscene doesn't seem to stop :s
i only see samuel standing there doing nothing

i think because i killed the ghost before the cutscene appearred samuel waits until the ghost leaves, but since i killed it already its already gone so the cutscene with samuel wont go away :s

what can i do about it?

since the ghost is gone, the cutscene wont end

can someone please help in this matter? It's unabling me to complete the game, even to play it further :s
