Hello,

The game worked perfectly 2 days ago, nothing really changed, no updates that I'm aware of, no new programs etc.
Yesterday i tried to lunch the game through GOG galaxy - and it didn't do anything. tried to check the antivirus and firewall, nothing new there.
If i use the EoCApp.exe file - everything works and it's fine, it even saves new achievements on GOG galaxy, but when i tried playing online it crushed.
the SupportTool.exe file used to pop the launcher screen where i choose edition, now just starts the game and the shortcut to this file does nothing.
I still can play SP, everything might not be connected but i have a strong suspicion that it is. i mean, i had no problems at all till two days ago and then one after the other.
I tried "repair/verify" the game, i tried deleting on purpose some files and then doing that again, and i tried uninstalling the game (including saves) and installing it again.
anyway i much prefer to lunch it through GOG galaxy and the ability to play online, so i would appreciate any help.
Best regards,

Try exiting out of Galaxy, and starting the launcher from the '..\Divinity Original Sin 2\bin\SupportTool.exe' executable. The SupportTool.exe programs in the folders with the EoCApp.exe executables will just start the respective version of the game (and monitor for crashes, popping up a crash report window if the game does crash).

If the launcher doesn't start at all, try reinstalling .Net Framework 4.

If that doesn't help, try deleting the config.xml file in the '..\Divinity Original Sin 2\bin' folder, as well as 'C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Local\LarianLauncher' (copy and paste %LocalAppData%\LarianLauncher into Windows Explorer to quickly open that folder).
After that, try verifying local files again.

If that doesn't at least get the launcher starting from the executable, there is also a Microsoft .NET Framework Repair Tool, or if that doesn't help, Cleanup Tool.

Thank you very much.

The framework was fine, but deleting the config.xml file method worked beautifully.

Everything works now.

Again, thanks.
