I haven't pre-ordered anything in a long time...but this my friend, is a Collectors Edition I would probably get without a second thought...

never pre order anything.

let games stand and fall on their merits, not on their hype.

My personal feeling is it's unlikely that there will be any physical distribution. But I am emphasising the "my personal feeling" bit as I have no inside knowledge one way or the other, so take that with a pinch of salt.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. My usual story is that I felt I'd been bitten hard by the Dragon Age Inquisition CE which was incredibly shoddy and really not at all as advertised. Furthermore, the poor customer care in its aftermath turned the whole event into quite the fiasco. In hindsight, the tarot cards set were arguably worth the fail that was the rest of the CE but even years later it still leaves a rather sour taste. But if I like the idea of something enough I'll still throw caution to the wind; just not as much as I used to.

Ciro Marchetti makes some very nice Tarot cards based on Rider Waite decks.

It's great to be cautious but with a studio like Larian I mean it's almost guaranteed gonna be worth the money. Even if it does turn out to feel like D:OS in the Forgotten Realms.. I'm down sign me up.
