Larian Studios Forums Divine Divinity (English) General Deadly Gift Scorpion Use

I am trying to get the artifacts for the elven council member. How do you actually activate those Scorpion traps? I have a set of 5, 9, and 52 of them but how do you get them to work individually or how many are necessary? I have deadly gift level 5 but haven't used them before. Select Deadly Gift as your right click function, and a menu bar will pop up with icons for all of the trap types you have in your inventory. Left click on the scorpion icon. Right click somewhere to release a scorpion.
