Hey guys. Running two Xbox controllers on my PC, playing coop with my girlfriend. All has been well, but as soon as Malady takes us out of the hall of echoes to Reapers Coast, the controller interaction is completely wonky. Most NPC's cannot be interacted with, many items cannot be touched unless at very specific angles, etc.

Same problem as this guy: http://forums.larian.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=654762

I've tried loading old saves. I've disabled all mods, etc. With KB&M everything is fine, so I loaded to our previously functional save, ran Hall of Echoes, and had Malady teleport us. Loaded that save up with controllers, and the bug still exists. We're trying to speak with a rat, or open a door, and it becomes extremely difficult either having to hold the A button to search in a circle, or use manual targeting (right D-pad) to then open up the context menu and choose talk... Which won't be feasible for the whole game since it's a lengthy process that turns peoples attitude on you.

Is there anything that is known about this, or a potential workaround?

Tried using a mod to start a new game, right at the beginning of Reapers Coast and the bug still takes hold. Interaction is difficult in many circumstances and impossible in others.

Are you using Feenex's battle pack mod? That has been know to cause this problem.
If not, please email support, as described in the topic you linked to.

Heya Raze, thanks for pointing that out.

You're right, actually, it does seem to be a problem with the mod pack. Turns out that the mod makes characters sort of float, and not correctly land on the ground once hitting Reapers Coast. They alternate between being too high above a surface, or too low into it (often sinking temporarily into stairs, slopes, etc).

Are you aware of any way that characters can have their Z axis reset, or something like that? Whether it be console code or perhaps having to code up a mod for deeper access? It seems that character collision with the ground is thrown off, for some reason. I've got in touch with the mod creator, hoping he responds, but am curious if there's a more straight forward way that I'd be able to work at a fix.

Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to do that. I can check with the programmers, but I suspect an automated script/command might cause more problems than it would fix (some rocks, walls, etc are deliberately placed partly under ground level, and the placement of some items, like ladders, may need to be fairly precise to have the animations and AI grid at the top and bottom line up properly).

There is no automated way to adjust everything, though code should actually snap characters to the AI grid.
