Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) General Patch is Here!!!

Happy day!!! Lar just posted that the new v1.4 patch is now available for download!!! This is great news!!! Lots of good stuff in it by the sounds. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/party.gif" alt="" />

We just released patch 1.4 for the English retail version of Beyond Divinity.

This patch will fix some issues that weren’t addressed in the previous patch. This game update will upgrade Beyond Divinity to version 1.4

OMG I have already found a problem with this patch (if I'm correct that is !)

I have the game installed atm with the 1.320 patch. Proof :


I downloaded the 1.40 patch, try to install it and it gives me the following message :

It seems I'm going to have to start all over again, which isn't that bad because I wasn't THAT far anyway, and now I can test out all the bugs again which I mentioned HERE :

Ummm... I believe you can just reinstall the game w/o losing your saves and then apply the patch? That way you won't have to start over again.

Try following procedure:
1.) Backup your savegame folder
2.) De-install <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" />
3.) Install <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beyond.gif" alt="" />
4.) Copy/move back the savegame files (don't overwrite excisting files!)
5.) Apply the 1.0->1.4 patch
6.) Have fun <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

You are right! I had to try it myself but I get the

"You already have patch 1.4 or greater installed" too

Please tell me there is a better way then uninstalling reinstalling the whole game.
