There is no way to see your full inventory now? If not, hurry add a button in for view full inventory.

Yeah, not being able to see your full inventory absolutely blows. I know a lot of whiners were saying stuff about the previous inventory, but it was much preferable to me.
Thing is, it sucks to have to click through 6 categories, on 2 or more characters, to find an item if you don't know offhand what category it might fall under (say it's a summoning doll or battlefield key or whatever). Sure, I guess eventually you'll memorize what category everything gets put in, but it's a nuisance.
Also, I like to be able to go over all my items at a glance, like if I'm encumbered, to see what I can get rid of.

I'm hoping Lynn or Lar saw this before they finished uploading the patch again. I'm sure it's a very quick and easy addition. I can't imagine they meant to remove show all completely.

That depends. An extra button would require changes to the artwork, etc. Maybe a hotkey or something in the options would be easier to do. I don't mind the tab functionality, but it would be handy to be able to switch back to the filter style in some situations.

Well previously, undepressing the button would show all inventory. I'm unsure why this quit working with the change.

uuhm it's 8u 30 in the evening here. Let them get some rest first. They are tired (uploading the wrong patch and all). I am shure this isn't the last patch we see of them.

Yeah, but for what should be a relatively easy fix, it doesn't make sense to make us deal with the lack of being able to see the full inventory until the next patch. Who knows when we'll see a future patch.

Im wondering if you've ever played the first game in the universe. The inventory screen there was much preferable to the new one. A lot of whiners eh? More like people who believe in the term Don't Fix what isn't broken.

Or like DoritoOfDeath said, clicking on the current tab could show everything. That wouldn't be as versatile as choosing between tab or filter styles, but would do mostly the same thing with probably less work required.

Well the way the inventory worked before this patch, you clicked a tab to remove a certain object type. You then clicked the tab again to re-show the items. I see no reason why you can't just re-click a tab that's currently depressed to bring up all items. This doesn't require graphics change at all.

To tell you the truth, I don't believe Larian meant to remove the ability to see your whole inventory at once. I think it was just a byproduct of the tab change.

I would just like to say that people should not say "oh it's easy anyway" too fast. Being a (very) amateur programmer I know that even the (what seems at first to be) simplest of tasks can turn out to be suprisingly difficult.
Right now in the new patch each character has about 5 little inventories. If you would want to see all of the items at the same time in one inventory, that means you would have to take each seporate item and place them in one by one, without them overlapping eachother. Because if they do overlap eachother, you guys are just gonna be back on these forums complaining again.
And when clicking back to a specific category, all the items have to be in the exact same place they were before you clicked the "all" button, or otherwise, people will complain that the inventory is deorganizing their stuff.
I'm not saying it's hard, all I'm saying is that a) People will never be fully satisfied, and b) Quit assuming that somthing like this is a 5 minute job, cause it might not be.

I like it too. But if theire would be a show all button in the next patch i won't complain. But it is better this way IMHO

The main reason it's easy is they already had the ability prior to the patch. I have also programmed although I don't do it for a living anymore. I bet it would take them maximum 5 minutes to fix this.

Oh yes, I definitely like to be able to serperate them by tabs. However there are many times when seeing all is more useful and easier.
