Larian Studios Forums Divinity: Original Sin 2 Divinity - Original Sin 2 - Bugs & Technical Problems "The Secret of the Dwarves" Quest Bug

After the new patch today I'm experiencing a bug with the Secret of the Dwarves quest line. When you click on the wedding cake at the wedding massacre site the game crashes as the cake explodes initiating the fight with the explosive toys. I've tried many ways to get around this bug, interacting with different characters, having my party out of view, only having one character in party when interacting with it. No matter what I do game always crashes. I've seen in youtube comments and on other forums many people are experiencing this bug after the new patch today. I would really appreciate any advice on how to get around this I don't want to skip the quest!

Please email supportdos2@larian.com with your save there (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc). If you are using any non-Larian mods, also include a list of those enabled and/or the modsettings.lsx file from your profile folder.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames\Story' folder.
In Windows Explorer you can zip a file or folder by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder' (and similarly in OSX/Finder).
