I've been playing for a while with patch 1.4 installed....on act 1 (this is my
4th new game!!) I have noticed that if you talk to the prisoner who is asking for water, without any water in your inventory, you cannot complete that task...ie. you can get all the water you want afterwards, but only have the option of saying "I'll find some for you". You still have the "find your own water" option, but I couldn't be that cruel...;)

Also, when you find the healing book on the shrine it doesn't appear in your inventory....does it do something then vanish?

the death knight picked it up. but its nowhere to be found in his or my main chars inv.

(he obtained no extra skills as a result..)

so i'm interested aswell in whatever is replied on that subject. thanks.

No worrys.

I know there have been LOTS of bugs, but I think the Larian guys should call it quits for the night and go off to get plastered!

The healing book gives the one who picked it up a 60hp boost instantly. As for the water, well it's a very specific bottle for some insane reason. Regular water won't do it, it must be one bottle in the nearby kitchen.

i guess the prisoner must've been a noble so he can only take sparkling water from some spring in france.
