Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General Drow involvement

The more gameplay footage we see, the more I am convinced that the Drow or a certain faction of them is involved with the Cult of the Absolute. We see in the beginning phase that the Goblins act deferentially to them and during a toast (that you can potentially poison) I distinctly remember one goblin says "And the face on the duke when we gave him to the drow!". I think we are seeing Vhaeraun cultist cooperating with the Cult for some purpose, I think they are the most likely candidates as unlike Lolth's followers, they want to leave the Underdark and rule the surface. It really makes me want to play one in the Early Access. What do you guys think?

Would be actually interesting to kill those drow renegades as a cleric of Lolth.

i think the goblin said that the drow had the touch of the absolute because she walked in the sun which drow tendentially dont do.

The same is true for the vampire spawn.

I think the goblin simply recognized the mindflayer parasite, opposed to the drow beeing part of that cult.

I am pretty sure the goblin chooses not to attack her because she's a drow specifically, without her using the tadpole. Which would seem to hint the drow play a role in these parts for some reasons.

again the Goblin knows shes got the tadpole cause she walks in the Daylight unhindered. Same as with th evamprie spawn. we know thats one thing that the tadpole does
