They're going crazy with people flipping out over the price. It is going to completely drown out any talk about the game.

I recommend moderators make a sticky thread for the price complaints, and then outright delete every single other thread talking about the price. If not, the forum will be even more completely unreadable than Steam forums already are.

I really don't think that moderating comments and deleting what people are saying is going to be the best PR move.
People have been paying $60 for games for years, and they're slated to go up to $70 soon.
I don't understand why they're attempting to force a guilt trip and feigning outrage when Larian has proven to be a worthy AAA company.

it's just this mentality that has overtaken gaming where people think "we value your feedback" means "bully is into changing our minds". it's sadly prevalent in every gaming community these days.

Steam forums have long been cluster f—s. This is nothing new.

Griping about the price is a favorite pastime on many of Steam's game forums. I mostly just ignore those.

There is no reason why there needs to be 200 topics of people saying the same thing. That is not feedback, it is spam, and it is clogging up and drowning out everything else.

It only exists because each and every one thinks that they are too special and too important to post their comment as a reply in someone else's topic. No, they need to make their OWN "unique" topic complaining. They do not.

I think that folks will be much less inclined to reply to such threads once their downloads complete, and they can begin playing. And my guess is that starving the trolls of replies will be the most effective treatment for the problem. Currently there really isn't that much to be drowned out with only those with high speed connections able to play--and those who can play likely more interested in doing so than posting feedback.
