Wow, I love the Find Familiar! Tried out the cat..so cute lol but the raven, OMG attack, blind, then fly away with no opportunity attack against it. The little guy distracts the mobs so much and I can stand back and cantrip them down. I can only Imagine what the animal companions will be like.

Which cantrips are you using?

I tried ray of frost and the stronger but 3m poison one, but the lattee has a really crap chance to hit.

I made a half elf Wizard whuch gets me one extra cantrip too which I used for mage hand.

I've been using the firebolt one, sorry don't remember the exact name, the fire effect is really nice. I made a Human wizard. I havent played with the mage hand much yet.
