Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Question on Pyramids & Dolls, & other stuff

I was in the Imp Village, in the NW, where I killed 3 or 4 Mutants. I then saw a teleporter stone, but when I tried to pick it up, it disappeared. Why?
Also, where do you get the Summoning Dolls? I have heard about them, and bought some skill in Doll upgrades from a merchant in the battlefields, but have not found the dolls.
I also can't seem to charm any of my items. I get the panel open, but when I try to drag a charm into it, it disappears. I tried dragging the charm directly onto the item, and the item disappeared! I lost a great pair of gloves trying that idea out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />
I've also noticed that when encumbered, if I try to move an item in the inventory, it often disappears. I'm getting very frustrated with this game so far. I had really been looking forward to it, now I'm beginning to think it was a waste of $42.00. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/disagree.gif" alt="" />

The teleporters that you can pick up are in fact located in the NW area, but you will not find them laying on the ground. Look around that area and check any chests that you come across.

You could have gotten a summoning doll in act I and act II so far in your game. The one in act I is for completing a quest, the one in Act II is from killing a monster. In act III you will be given one.

Then placing a charm on a piece of equipment make sure that you move the charm window off to the side of the inventory window and it will not disappear. When the charm window is on top of the inventory window it seems that the game thinks you are just trying to drop the charm back in your inventory.

Make sure that you install the new patch (v1.41) and don't get discouraged. Most of the major problems should have been cleared up after you install the patch.

Thanks. I guess I didn't get the one in act 1 because I never finished act 1. I got transported to act 2 somehow (I forget how) and never got to finish the quests. I never found that silly tooth for the imp. I did get the spider statue, grard, Abe, the veath & Astiewyr.
I'm playing on Easy right now, as hard as this is, I'd hate to see what the tougher settings are like!
