Played around 3 hours of it today with gf, so 2 player co-op. One thing I find odd is that...there is no way to help or anything? I know this wasn't a thing in Divinity, but D&D is very much a party game, so I found it very odd that one character that ends up being engaged upon has to do ALL the talking and all the checks. There is no way to help them with an advantage if you're prof. in it OR do the check yourself, even though your character is standing right there. In other CRPGs party companions help you, but in this one at least another co-op partner should be able to help? There are SO many different types of checks in D&D, and it's not like you know beforehand which character to use because it comes with this and this.

In tabletop the party is there, and one can do persuasion while another can do insight, so just something to consider and maybe look into about this.

Another thing to notice is the same issue with Div OS 2 where a companion is "locked" with the character they first talked too. Another character was walking forward yet Gale started talking to me, and then ofc it all happened there and then when the co-op partner tries to talk they don't really care and just say "no". Even after handing them control of Gale they just say "no". We did finally figure out how to sort of fix that, send him to camp, go to camp and have the other player talk to him and say "JOIN ME". But then it still automatically locks the original character into a cutscene with Gale (or any other character) when a cutscene in a camp does start with that specific character. A little annoyance, maybe it can be changed, maybe it can't.

Also not really on topic but are future companions supposed to DIE DIE before you even get them? I got that goblin fight where you see Wyll, and he just got zerked and died in like the 2nd turn. He got "shocked" and that was it. No revivify scroll or anything for him, just permanently dead before we could even do anything lol...

Another thing I would say is things like charm person or what not that can help with charisma checks and etc, like there is no way to use them in convo? Like how is a person supposed to know it'll require them to use that spell BEFORE the convo happens, so you use it before hand, if it works like that? Especially if you get jumped and get into a convo out of nowhere.

Thanks for reading!
