Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - General How does a Beta game work regarding new versions?

This is actually my first time participating in a Beta of any sort as I am excited for Baldur's Gate and can't wait for the release date.

Regarding the Beta, I am currently downloading it via GoG at 65gb. My question is, when a new version of the Beta comes out, do we have to download the whole 65gb (or whichever size it'll be) or is it patched with smaller downloads or is it a mix of both depending?

My monthly data cap would dearly like to know.

Hey, most likely it will be a pack of patches to a current build. No need to re-download the whole thing, unless they will do it during full release
