Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Quest Save Mayrina cannot be completed

Hi folks!

I'm really enjoying BGIII so far, bar a couple of minor issues. The first big one that I've hit is the quest "Save Mayrina" where you go deep into a Hag's lair to save a woman. I have been able to fight past the minions and bypass the traps but when I get to the end the Hag doesn't spawn. The NPC is shouting at an empty stone pedestal where I assume she is meant to be and, when I lower the NPC down to safety, I can't interact with her or escort her to safety.

Is there something daft that I'm missing or is this a bug?

I experienced this same issue. I lowered the cage and was not able to interact with Mayrina and there is no hag to be found. I was able to go through the door and through the magic portal that ported me outside the hag's house.

I also lowered the cage and cannot interact with her, I tried to use different party members and that didn't work either. Saved and reloaded, same issue. Left and came back, same issue.

So far - killing Mayrina finishes the quest; but still haven't fought the damn hag. Exiting via the portal brings me to an "arcane shield" at a crossroad sign that I cant interact with either.
