I have about 5 hours play time.

- Camera
First of all, if you use edge panning, it keeps cutting out so that you are forced to use wasd. Middle mouse button to turn the camera is not the best option. If the camera followed the party, it would be better.

- Chain
The chain mechanic for separating the party still sucks. It's a pita to re-group the party. There's a reason that games allow you to form a box to corral your party, it just works. I don't see that it would conflict with the follow the leader mechanic. But at any rate, a simple button to re-group the party would help.

- Left Click
I don't find that selecting items works very well. I often have to go back to left click again because the click didn't take. This goes for left clicking and holding, as well.

- Dash Skill
This requires more clicking than necessary. Should be able to click the skill and then click the spot where you want to move. It seems to take 3 clicks instead of 2 for some reason.

- Inventory
Still janky AF. The whole thing would be better if you could see equipment slots while looking at inventory so that you can click and drag.

I'm liking the game so far. I could say some other things, but it would just be stuff that's expected in EA.

I was at least able to put in some playtime today, and within an hour had the same sort of feelings.

Dash was somewhat less intuitive than I expected it to be. I spent quite a few minutes trying to figure out how it worked until I finally realized you had to select it, click on screen somewhere for it to activate and change the motion indicator. I think I might be more comfortable with it being a toggle, immediately changing the motion bar, and consuming the action if you crossed the regular movement action (color or some sort of stacked chevron UI " ------ >>>>>>" would be a really clear which distance is what). Maybe that's a little harder to program than a distinct action, I don't know. The way it acts now confused me and made me wonder whether it was working or not.

Throw was also hard to deselect once the inventory was brought up. I had to hit ESC every time.

I had less of a problem with chain, but that's partly because I got so used to it from DOS2.

I like the overall interface though. A lot. Pretty easy to figure out what does what and what I can do. It's just the execution of a player using it that needs a few more tweaks to make it feel more natural.
