CURRENT FEATUREWhen I'm in the party wide inventory hovering over a piece of equipment shows the details panels. If the currently selected character has an item in that slot (e.g. a helmet) it also shows the details panel for the equipped item. This is awesome, because it lets me compare the current item to the equipped one.
PROBLEM- I've also accidentally equipped worse items to my character because I got mixed up about which panel was the equipped vs inventory item.
- On several occasions I've gotten confused and accidentally equipped the item to the wrong character.
EDIT: I do know that you can see which character is selected in the bottom-left corner but from a UX perspective having it closer to the item would be better.
POTENTIAL SOLUTIONShowing the characters portrait or name in the details panel of the equipped item would solve both problems by:
- making it clear which item is equipped
- showing me which character is currently selected
Besides this and some issues with selecting items (which I kind of think is my fault for using a trackpad) I'm enjoying the inventory system so far!
