Hello Everyone,
I'm new to the forum and I just purchased the EA last night. My friend and I wanted to start a campaign together, but anytime I tried to connect to his lobby I would receive a "connection failed" error message. From there, I tried to host a game and sent many invites to my friend, but he would receive the same error messages too. We switched the lobby options to allow anyone to enter the lobby as well as enabling direct connections, but we would still get the same error messages. We've enabled DX11 too, but still nothing. After that I reset my router back to factory default settings thinking it was a router issue, but no luck as we would receive the same error message of "connection failed". We tried copying the server ID and tried connecting that way, but no dice on that either. After many attempts we finally did get in a lobby, but it would never last that long as the connection to the server would drop. However, we were able to create our characters, but that's as far as we got until we receive a server timed out message.
We gave up on multiplayer and decided to go with some single player, which worked fine with no hiccups (knock on wood)
Has anyone experienced these same connection issues?
