After launching on steam and hitting play in the launcher I instantly receive a "Larian Crash Reporter"

"An error has occurred and the game has quit unexpectedly. A Crash report has been generated which could help us fix the issue in a future release. The only information we send to ourselves etc....

I have tried reinstalling.

I have tried running as both vulkan and directx11

I have tried verifying the files.

Any other solutions? Im assuming others are having this issue.

Have the Devs even acknowledged this issue and are working on it?

there are actually multiple threads now on this very issue. i am having it as well.

I HAD the SAME problem.

Here's my solution. Before clicking PLAY - > HOLD the SHIFT Key of your keyboard. And keep it HOLDED until the game launch correctly (I'm not kidding)


Try it out and let me know.

PS: Using Windows 7 for my part.

I have tried this, either crashes or gives me an error unfortunately. Hopefully they can fix, because it should be some kind of ctr - alt etc to launch a game lol.
