So I had a encounter where one of my companions died in the water. I thought nothing about it except "ah well I will just use the scroll to revive him" but was quite surprised as I was trying to revive him so is he out of sight. The exact message I get is "Target is out of sight!" and then beneath that in white. "Choose destination." Now this is a fairly annoying bug, because yes it is a bug not just a person being a bad player except for having a party member dead.

A pic of the issue. So a bit of a s...e screenshot might spoil things for you.

Had this issue with Fog Cloud also. The scroll should not be based on sight at all.

Sounds like it is a targeting bug of some kind then. Even though fog cloud is a AOE spell and you would think that targeting that should not really be a issue in the game. You should honestly be able to place such a spell where ever you want to, not just on a specific enemy.

I can confirm this bug as well. Both with normal revive scrolls and for the quest "In Case of Death".
