Hi all!, as most of you I want this game to be the best possible, I’m a dungeon master, love d&d games and software enginner as background (not that matters), lets go with my notes and hope any of them help:
Bugs:
* Friends cantrip does not work, no advantage in any kind of roll. Extra suggestion, let me cast it in the middle of the dialoge, that would be great.
* The fire area with the flamming fist (waukeen's rest) is is extremely buggy, I spent like 3 hours there and I ended turning around, with the game buging when resquing the guy, open doors that my characters could not cross for pathing bugs ...
* There are also some graphical glitching but you know that already.
* It can be my fault, but when i have something out of reach, like .. 5 feet away with something in the middle i cant grab it, not even with mage hand (consecuence of fisical mage hand), it should be able always to grab things in range of the user.
Story:
* I love Alfira (the tiefling bard), she is amazing, wish she was a companion.
Other suggestions:
* I feel the price swings on bartening are too big. In the end i ended stealing everything. I think they come from the relationship bonus in DOS? but here we cant improve it so easely, i would reduce it to -30% ,+30% range or something like that, right now goes to 100% extra, but thats personal opinion.
* I wish i could stealth all the party when i clicked the button, at least if they are linked (following each other), its a pain to have to individually click on every party member, summon, friend and so on.
* Pathing with actions and jump needs to be improved, if i jump follow me jumping, dont walk around or stay back.
* If possible, please add an aditional control system, let me select a subgroup of characters, shift click, and control them together, i know its not the dos way, but it would be a great addition. Also, formations. (In DA Inquisition was called tactical mode?, it could be a mode too.)
* I dont like the automatic opportunity atack, its ok to have it enable, but give us a mode to choose if we want to trigger when the trigger happens.
* Also let us set redied actions as triggers , and again, choose if we can use them, does not need to be p&p lvl, but thinks like preparing an attack for combat start or cast this cantrip if an enemy gets in range.
* Selection spells like bless should let me choose the targets, it can be option or default, the way magic missile works is nice for example. If its on default prioritize party members, not closer ones, i always end buffing familiars.
* Descritpions need to be clear and more complete: You need to give me duration, ranges are not correct, 3 m does not say if its a 3 m 1 target atack or its an area of 3 m around yourself, full description even if i have to click to bring the full text up. the same works with races, clases and so on. If i pick drow, dont tell me the lvl 1 spell, tell me all the racials. If I pick heal cleric, dont tell me i cure 2 extra points, tell me i cure wisdom extra points so as a player i know what its happening. Yes, I know the rules, and i can go into the d&d player handbook to look at it but it should not be needed.
* Add the dodge action please. Is one of the most important actions in the game in combat.
* If you can, add help action in dialoge, and general tasks, open a door and so on, is also an important aspect of d&d, here we can save scum but i'll rather have my 2 characters help each other for advantage.
* Ritual casting for wizards and clerics please, add the feat if you can to, but those need ritual casting. (There are descriptions with ritual casting so i assume you are working on it)
* I don't like fly, it feels lacking, I understand the problematic but wish it could be done better and haver permanent fly that cant be hit by melee and select altitude, even if i cant go outside the map. (i know for now we only have some familiars with flight but we will have the spell or winged races maybe? ) I like how it works in XCOM2, as an example, when the enemy flights it gets to the sky certain altitude, weapon and spell ranges decide if you can hit or not.
