Kind of.... same mechanic as Divinity Original Sin 2...
By default everyone follows, loosely in the same order they are listed.
You can have one person wander off alone, just by using Hide... a bit clunky though.
You can also drag the icons apart (Pull people far to the right) and they will separate a bit on the listing, allowing you to move them without the others following.
Another helpful trick (doesn't work on the Nautilus, due to "Combat nearby) is hitting Space, to enter Turn based mode. Really helpful if you need to move all of your party carefully, like making everyone jump over a bunch of flames.
