I had Shadowheart dead, but she was underneath a large creature, so I was unable to shove it out of the way. When I moved the revivify targeting over her, it said invalid target. I cannot go to camp because a member of my party is dead. And yes, she was dead, not downed. I am unsure if this is because of the creature on top of her, or something else.

Same thing happened to me. Astarion died underneath some large troll things and I couldn't reach him with a revivify scroll. Had to reload a save.

Experienced the same issue with the PC. Died in the water and then couldn't use the scroll. At the same time worked it on Wyll who was not in the water.

Have you tried clicking on the scroll and then clicking on the character's portrait while in range of their body?

I don't want to fall to bits 'cos of excess existential thought.

Same issue here. Astarion died in the water and I cannot use the scroll, says "target out of sight". I've tried climbing all over the place to get a better "view" and nothing works. Clicking on the character card just says "too far away". On that beach with the Harpies..

Happened to us last night. One of our party members died in a fight against 3 ogres, and one of the ogres died on top of him. We could highlight his weapon, but it said something like "Target cannot be revived" (if you highlight the ogre itself, it says "Invalid target", so I know I highlighted the player).

However, in our case, we managed to push over the ogre, and then we were able to use the scroll.

Ah, that's a good idea. I shoved Astarions corpse until I got it up on the shore and was able to revive him.

I'm having a similar issue. Lae'zel was killed and her body was somehow sent back to the camp. When I try to use the revivify scroll on her, she's too far away. When I try to take the party to the camp, it says one of the party is currently unable to travel.

..just had this happen to me last night -- was in the Goblin Camp.. used a teleport spell to move to a higher grass ledge (for height advantage in combat) - my character was killed on that ledge and my other characters cannnot reach them to use the Revvify scroll.. i ended up clearing out the entire camp with my remaining 3 characters (and so therefore don't want to re-load and do all over again!) - but i cannot travel to camp.. and all attempts to use the scroll are met with 'character is too far away' or 'out of sight'.. i tried using magical spells to 'pull the character off of the ledge' .. i've tried exploding a barrel next to their dead body, in hopes that the concussion blast would knock them off of the ledge.. nothing is working!!?
