Just curious as to how high a level character other people ended up with after completing the game?

I ended up a level 49 Warrior and i didnt solve two quests, missed one or two and failed one. I wanted to make it to level 50 but didn't quite make it probably due to those quests.

I know i killed a huge amount of characters and dont believe that i missed too many in the game.

Anyway how did you all go? And what class was your character?

The first time through, I was in the 35-40 range. There were lots of little quests I didn't bother with, and I didn't kill every monster.

My main class was Warrior, but I took a lot of skills from other classes. I liked scorpions and polymorph a lot, which took care of the boss fights until I found a frost weapon. I could have been any class, and my character would have played pretty much the same way.

... so I stripped down to nothing but a Super Big Gulp cup and rubberband, and ran up the street screaming "Swing me, gringo!"

I was a 49 level warrior with lots of quests unsolved. I got really pissed off in not finishing those quests, so I went Divine and finished it. I love having a Frost Blade of Chaos sword, the best WEAPON in the game. Though my sword did have 98-143 damage, which I think is rather high for the sword, hehehhe.

Well, this is officially my first post, 2nd attempt...I have lurked around awhile, but didn't wanna get too involved until I finished (afraid to come across spoilers by accident or something)

I finished with a level 50 Warrior, killed nearly everything until the Wastelands, then just wanted to hurry and finish.

The amazing thing was my armor and weapons. What I had was so strong, that I only kept the gloves from the dragon armor, and sold the rest.
Every piece I had contained at least 3 slots, most had 5.

My ending hitpoints were 1500, strength 170, and so on.
The final 'level' ONLY the knights could damage me, other than bosses, who could barely touch me, and this was normal difficulty. Was really too easy to get powerful enough to make the game easy.

My sword, I found when my str was only 35, it was Blade of Chaos. It was pretty much, wack, wack, dead.

Anyway, my warrior was strong, and I think I completed all but the Shrimpo and Balin and Cirgon quests...unless there were some rare hidden ones I may have missed.

Welcome to the forum Grantham,

I never ended up using any of the Dragon gear at all the thing that mystified me was that i never found it all????

I found the armour, gloves and helmet but thats all. Did you find all of it?

Your strength was very very high i think mine only got up to about 145, what was your dexterity? I am curious because when i read my personal traits in the game my dexterity made me appear weak in a fight until it got to 100 and then was still considered an ordinary fighter? Didn't get much higher than 130 either from memory.

I finished the game at level 49 with a warrior...I got my STR up to 201 with charms (not with the charm bug, just with all gold charms) and my AGI up to about 185 as well. That made it pretty easy. However, the funniest thing was that right before I got to the final boss, I drank all my strength potions (about 8 supers, 8 normals and several minors) and then cast the Divine path spell that raises all your stats by 10% about 4 times, and my STR maxed out at 599. I couldn't get it to go any higher. Then I whacked Janus in about 3 hits, what a riot! My brother about fell out of his chair when he saw that!

As far as the DRAGON ARMOR, THE FOLLOWING CONTAINS DRAGON ARMOR SPOILERS!!!!

1) Shield - in Stormfist, get it from the armory (it is Green)
2) Belt - In Verdistististististist (hehe), west part of town, you will have cut scene about 2 daughters wanting daddy's money. The belt is in the hatch (you will actually fall thru) of her house, very nearby
3) Gloves, Elvin Ruins, lowest right, unburned Pyre.
4) Breatplate - You must have Axe of Stone AND the proof that drunk dwarf is a punk, THROW them past the 2 guards who won't let you see the Dwarf King unless you are naked, and once you are in, pick them up and give to the king. He will tell you about dragon armor. It is in Verdististististististis. Go see Patrick, he will give you a simple quest for the armor. Also, have the Heart of the Stone (from Warrior Guild quest) Take the stone and breastplate to Dwarven Smith, and he will repair it. Once repaired, take it to the King (throw it through), and he will give you the.......
5) Helm, see above.

shew...outta breath now...lol
good luck, great for experience, but if somewhat lucky, you can find armor that fits better....SUCH AS THE ARMOR OF LARIAN...that was some cool piece o' armor.

It's possibly the fact that I wore no shield. I had 2 handed sword, so my armor was lowered due to it.

Did you have a shield? That can make quite a difference.

Below contains some sword spoilers!

The two places I found the best weapons.
1) Lich cave in Rivellon map
2) Dwarven hills near small pack of thugs...there is a 'mountain' of rocks...move a few boulders, and it's in the 'cave' of the tree trunk.

Happy Hunting

strength potions stack? didnt know that.. does it also hold true for the res boosting elixers?

Oh, beat the game with a 49 sword-spec warrior using the sword in the stone. bonuses and charms put it over the top in stats and resistances... real nice.

First time I went through the game I ended up with a level 51 survivor. She cut a swath of destruction across the land, and it was awesome. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Second time I went through the game basically trying to make it perfect, by reloading multiple times to get 5 charm slots on all my dragon equipment, and I ended up with a character that wasn't much better than the first one. Level 52.

Both times I maxed out wisdom.
