Larian Studios Forums Baldur's Gate III Baldur's Gate III - Technical & Gameplay Problems Filesystem error. Savegame load failed

I am trying to start a new game then a Filesystem error message showed up saying "failed to create dir: \\?\C:\Users\(my user name)\Documents\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\LevelCache\4084 The System cannot find the file specified." then after that I was back at the main menu page with a message saying "Savegame load failed. Error code(s): 100"

I spent hours trying to fix this. I tried run as the administrator and it's no help. I already disable my antivirus. I tried creating the 4084 folder that the game said it cannot find which help me to get into game trailer and character creation. Once I finished character creation and venture forth however, I was back at main menu page again with "Savegame load failed. Error code(s): 612" message. The next time I click new game, Filesystem error message will show up again but with different missing mile that is not 4084 (58900, for instance). Would there be another way to fix this or will devs fix this issue as game development continues?

Sounds like this has happened to some people since the new hotfix. Delete the profile folder, create a new one and start up again.

unfortunately as this is EA, this kinda stuff happens and is to be expected : /

I've got a similar problem. I was just quick saving pressing f5 an auto saving for a 7 h gameplay, then my game crash and now when i try to load all my past save i got the error code 222 saying that i wasent able to load save! If u find a way to help this pls tell me! i dont want to do it all again!

I fix it somehow by running on administrator user but after hotfix 2 I am experiencing this again. I just tried deleting the profile folder but it does not work. Now I am receiving savegame error 612 after I am creating new character in main menu.
