Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems patch 1.41 should i ??

i have been so ingrossed with the game i didnt notice there was 2 new patches 1.4 and 1.41. Should i install both of these, just one of them, or niether of them?? I been reading about so many problems with them so i am confused.

If you are willing to start over I'd wait for the next patch at least. Otherwise don't patch over 1.4 (but remove your summoning doll inventory prior)

are you saying don't apply 1.41 on top of 1.4 or don't apply 1.4 on top of 1.32. according to the release notes, 1.41 fixed the problem with the summoning doll inventory.

just DO NOT DO 1 thing: DON'T apply v1.41 over 1.4. that'll cause troubles

if you install 1.41 over a prior version than 1.4, you'll be fine

Yes. Larian commented on this. You can install 1.41 over any version, except for version 1.4, because a mistake will cause 1.4 savegames to not work properly with 1.41. However, Larian also plans for a new 1.42 patch today which should help fix this problem, plus a few more (or somthing like that)...

actually, you can't. i installed 1.41 over 1.32.

it broke my summoning doll, forcing the game to crash every time i tried to activate it.

FWIW I can't get past act 1 with patch 1.41, the game crashes to desktop on act change. (And I am not the only one as you can see)

Hell, if you allow my some sarcasm, I'd say don't install 1.42 either wait for 1.5... or 1.6 <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/badsmile2.gif" alt="" />
