In Act 1 is there a bunch of instant death traps? I get into this large room and start walking around and all of a sudden, my guys are both dead! It is very frustrating that I can't play more than 5-10 minutes of the game without reloading even on the easyist level. Also, is there anyone that has a walkthrough or map of Act 1? Thanks!!!

Easiest way to get around that is to give one of your characters a single point in trap detection. Otherwise, perhaps someone can post a screen showing you the traps. That aside, try sticking close to the northern edge, and send only your heartiest character east. With luck, when he triggers the one or two traps he encounters, you'll be able to repair the damage with potions. Once triggered, those traps vanish.

here, maps - please, put 1 skill pt into trap detection. Did you get the skill book as a reward from the thirsty prisoner in the starting lvl? I think, you're in the maze level, right?

Oh, and move the trap char first - better in single mode and walking, not running to see/avoid these traps. Later on in this act => lvl 2 is better.

Traps only have 1 "charge" -- just use your Summoning Doll as a bomb-sniffer. When he gets blown up, wait until the respawn penalty cools down, then shuffle another one off to die.

If you have > 200 hitpoints on one of your characters, 1 trap won't kill it, and after that, you can just run your poor skeleton buddy down the hall a ways to see if there are more traps (there always seems to be more than one).

Hey Biflspud. Is your sig from Stewie in Family Guy? Had to ask.

No, but that's a fairly Stewie thing to say. That's Invader Zim, from the show of the same name (available on DVD this month) -- incredibly funny show. Imagine Stewie as an inept alien attempting to take over the earth, and that's your main premise right there. My avatar is GIR, Zim's moron robot sidekick, crying over having lost his rubber piggie to Zim's space/time object replacement device, if that gives you any more clue of the flavor of the show
