After 8h of EA gameplay here is a fact:

Having to individually make all your party jump stuff during exploration is a pain, even worse when you jump down a hole and get the 5s black screen twice (because then you need to switch to characters that didn't jump yet).

The solution would be to either have a "group jump" feature or something we had for years already: the good ol' teleport pyramid.

Make it a pair of magic rings if you want but we need it, jumping is just so tedious right now.

The individual jump is kind of a pain, I agree. There should be a group jump option at least.

or they should auto jump as they follow you. This is possible as the intellect devourer does it at the start

I think the problem is that all characters have different jump lengths depending on strength, etc. factors, so if you can make a jump with a buffed, high STR character, your low strength unbuffed character might not be able to make the jump. I hate it too and think it's annoying. I like how you can climb obstacles automatically and maybe that could be the solution.

Just let us select the whole party and drop that stupid chaining machanic from DOS... or, alternatively, make the AI jump after the leader on their own.

This. When I play a party-based rpg, I really don't count on splitting my group for any other purpose than scouting. Selecting everyone at once is a must.

Which already is in the game anyhow, since your party doesn't follow when you hide...

This is so restrictive. I just hate the idea. In this game, sometimes you want your party members to split and do things on their own. That's the beauty of it. Party only move, no thank you.
