Im a 37yr old PC gamer that started on the sega master system as a boy and has not stopped playing computer games since... i played Baldur's Gate 1 + 2 when it had like idk 4-6 chapter cds.. but one got royally scratched over the floor and never worked again bullshit, I was destroyed, as i could never play passed that chapter, kids these days never have to experience that heart break with online digital downloads now the norm. Ive played like 15hrs so far since release as a warlock of the old gods only, and restarted multiple times to find a few reoccurring things with every load,
# a couple of times upon death, the body of a humanoid will expand to fill half the screen clipping through the floor, walls and anything else, after leaving the scene and returning sometimes the body has either dissipated completely or the glitch is gone and body remains.
# at the start when the ship is falling out of the sky the graphic load for the red bugbear/goblin dude chief thingy... looking up is just a head and neck or is never loaded textures or its first pass textures only load for him and the female model next to him same deal.
# i had a weird time when i was opening and closing the inventory and character screen rapidly one session that the screen for my inventory would not ever close, no matter what button or X i pressed in the window.... not even when i exited out and was in the main menu, it was still loaded over the overlay so had to force quit the game to clear it. Upon loading again it was cleared.
# the tail of a dead humanoid devilkin at the start was whipping around like crazy, like a hose on full pressure and no one holding its end lol.
and yeah thats it so far enjoying it very VERY much regardless of these small non game breaking bugs, all those DnD fan bois can STFU, nothing is ever going to be perfect for you neck bearded basement dwellers, and you can shove your "why iet turn bas, buldur gat wus nver turn base, i want my 20yr old top down isometric nostalgia" bullshit back up yo A$$, if you want that shit just play in tactical mode only i dare you, but beside that im enjoying Larian's take on this cult classic and liking very much where its going.
