Hello there.

My friends and I are experiencing sync issues when playing a multiplayer campaign.

It's important to note that the host did not experience any of these issues. Only the connected party members.

We have tried to switch to DX11 (as we saw it was suggested), but that didn't seem to have any effect.

Examples of the issue:
1. a party member attacks an enemy and sees his actions in-sync, but other connected party members do not see his attack (until after a very long time).
2. a connected party member attacks an enemy and does not see his actions in-sync (until after a long time), but other party members did see him attack.
3. a party member attacks an enemy and all connected party members did not see his actions in-sync (until after a long time).

These sync issues seem to happen only during combat, but I'm not entirely sure.

and now for something completely different...

We have a small suggestion to the dialog interface regarding dice rolls:

It would be awesome if party members could see the dice rolls when listening-in to a conversation.

And in general, it might be a nice idea to have a small dice icon appear (with the rolled number) next to the players' avatars whenever they click to roll anything.

Thank you for your effort!

To provide more information to the desync issue, it appears to be a problem when initialising turn based combat. The delay for myself and my party was up to around 3 minutes. It would not end when leaving combat and usually only effected 1-2 players often being the same people in each fight. The problem could be resolved following the combat by switching turn based mode on and off again. However, the desync issue made the game unplayable for our party so we have agreed to continue when this has been resolved. I would concider this a priority as many like myself have chosen to play this game due to its similarities to DnD, therefore multiplayer is a core value of the design of this game and its relevence to DnD is lost within single player.

As to the suggestions it would be really nice to be able to observe others dice rolls; aswell it would be nice to have a gameplay option to turn on dicerolling for all interations such as combat and saving throws. Obvsiously this could be a future implementation and at present i beleive desync issues are far more restricitve to the player experience.

Can't agree more. We're in the same exact situation
(regarding the love for the DnD similarities and choosing to wait a bit until the issue is resolved)
