Hello Larian!
I am finding the way the camera works is very frustrating and lacking. Sometimes it follows your character moving, and by manually panning around it breaks making it so that constant camera manipulation is necessary. Camera also clips into walls, etc..zooming in to get a better overview does not work as zooming is too limited. In short, I cant believe you dont see this awkward camera functionality when you play and playtest your own game.
I realize this is early access, but something as basic as camera operation should be better in this in my opinion.

I hope you take a close look at how your camera operation is implemented asap!

Thank you!

I agree. Also if possible i would prefer to be able to zoom out further to see terrain around the characters. With the limited zoom out and angle it is difficult to see the surrounding terrain and get a better lay of the land.

Zoom further and weird camera functioning is a thing.

Keybinding rotate left and right to Q & E works wonders for camera control but yeah, you are the party's camera guy laugh

Worst so far was goblins that climb on wooden beams to shoot arrows from high ground. I simply can't get the camera in a position to target them, unless I climb there as well. Having varied environment is actually great, but without improved camera, just frustrating.

This too is a huge point of immersion breaking for me.

To explain, the dialogue and story moments are FANTASTIC!!!

However the exploration of the maps are awful to navigate, being able to move the charcter with the wsad keys when not in combat would seriously help with that. Then you can move your character while holding down the middle mouse to rotate the camera it would be such a better option.

Also the way the camera will refuse to let you have a higher vantage point, panning up and down is problematic. Allowing the camera to rotate on any axis while holding the middle mouse down would be great. I understand you need to have collison detecttion so that the camera can not go through the floor or ceiling etc but that should be possible right team?

To give an example, starting area, going up the lift to where the brain is waiting to be set free, you have to hit the HOME key to reset the camera as you can not alter any other way.

How about the first time the middle mouse is used, the camera will reset, then while held down it can be used to view in any angle.

I hope this makes sense as so far that is the only MAJOR issue I can see, as its so frustrating to use it breaks the immersion and makes you want to go do anything else but play the game.
