Larian Studios Forums Beyond Divinity (English) Technical Problems patch 1.32 to 1.41, summoning doll crash

after patching, clicking the summoning doll in your inventory to bring him into play crashes the game.

i have no idea if the pyramids were working or not since i'm not that far ahead.

I have the same problem with the summoning dolls and the 1.42 patch does not help.
I patched 1.32 to 1.41 and from 1.32 to 1.42.
Are we the only ones with this specific problem?
Should I first patch to 1.40 and then to 1.42 ?
I'm going to uninstall and reinstall to the 1.32 version until this problem is solved.

try going from 1.32 to 1.4 to 1.42. that's what i'm going to do. it appears that might be necessary since no one else seems to have had a problem. however, DO NOT use 1.41, as this one corrupted the saves, which might account for the summoning doll problem.

mine is crashing too
also the bf lvl 2 dungeon is still empty

i rolled back to 1.32. neo987 got the same problem. i'm wondering if the crash is somehow connected to the items not updating stats problem i was having with the doll if i drag and drop the items rather than click them in inventory.

I already had problems with the inventory of the summoning doll after going from patch 1.32 to 1.4. I thought going to 1.42 would solve this problem, but it got worse, I'm having the summoning doll crash too now.

I'm going to try reinstalling the game and immediatly install the 1.42 patch and see if this works.

well, it may not. but i doubt it.

Didn't work, not that I had much hope. I'm also going back to 1.32, it's the only version that seems to work without having too much problems. And I prefer an empty dungeon over a summoning doll that's not working at all.
